What is a zine?
A zine is traditionally a self-published piece of paper media. A FanZine is a zine put together about a particular piece of established media, sometimes by a single person and other times by a group.What is this zine about?

Illusions is a free zine, so there will be no profits. However, tipping the creators is encouraged.What kind of content will be featured?
The zine will feature Camie as if she were the cover girl focus of a magazine. This may include but is not limited to: fashion shoot spreads, interview articles, fics about her in the fashion industry or interviews with her as a pro-hero, and more. There are no content restrictions so long as the work adheres to the theme. All works will be tagged accordingly.Will there be romance, or gen. only? NSFW? Ships?
Our main focus is Camie in a fashion magazine, but other characters may be featured with her as well (example: Camie and Ochako doing a photo shoot on a sofa). The zine is open to all Camie ships and NSFW is allowed, so long as it doesn't take away from the main focus of the zine (example: Camie and Katsuki getting busy in the dressing room after a photo shoot).How do I participate?
When applications open, anyone that fills out the form will be accepted into the zine barring certain restrictions: must be 18 years of age or older, must not have mods blocked on social media, must adhere to our anti-theft policy. Anyone caught doing so will be immediately removed from the project, banned, and will not receive their contributor copy.How many contributors will be featured?
Contributor count will be dependent on applications but so long as the above guidelines are met, anyone that applies will be accepted.How will contributors be compensated?
As this is a free, digital zine, all contributors will receive a copy of the digital PDF and any digital merch that is made.

I was initially drawn to Camie because of her gorgeous appearance and valley-girl dialect. I firmly believe she’s half Eastern European and spent her childhood infatuated with Californian pop culture. Camie is a girls girl, and I love her to pieces.
Camie definitely watched that playboy bunny show from the early 2000’s, hence her dialect.😭😂

Applications
General Guidelines
All applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Illusions features works centered around Utsushimi Camie in a fashion setting.
This project is open to all who apply.
You may apply for multiple roles but are only expected to complete one piece at the time of final submission.
You are not required to submit samples and you will not be graded on your application since the zine is open to everyone. Mods will just be using applications to verify age and that you are not outwardly inflammatory (posting hate speech, etc).
Plagiarism, art theft, or gen-AI will not be accepted. Anyone caught submitting samples with them will be automatically disqualified from applying.
Writers - Writers are to complete at least one fic or article with a minimum word count length of 500 words. Writers may submit more than work but no more than a total word count sum of 8,000 for all combined pieces.
Artists - Artists are to complete at least one single-page illustration, two-page spread, or four-page comic but no more than five illustrations (excluding spot art). Artists can create as many spot art for the zine or a writer's fic as they would like, so long as it doesn't hinder your ability to create your one minimum required illustration.
Cosplayers - Cosplayers are expected to create at least one photo dressed as Camie. This can either be in her hero costume or regular clothes. With a max of five cosplay photos. Gravure photos are acceptable but no full nudity.Artists are welcome to make digital or printable merch for the zine, but it is not a requirement.
